1. How to set up a Clickbank Account

What is Clickbank? Clickbank is the third party payment processor used by Kingdom of Pets. They handle all of the dollar value transactions via the Internet relating to Kingdom of Pets. Clickbank has been Kingdom of Pet's third party payment processor since its beginning in 2003.

How does Clickbank work?

1. You send visitors to your chosen Kingdom of Pets product via a Clickbank hoplink which is in your website or PPC campaign. Clickbank tracks the visitors you send to that product and pays you a commission if that visitor orders a product.

At this point a cookie is stored on the visitors computer which is active for a 60 day period. This cookie remembers your Clickbank Nickname so if the customer purchases the product within this 60 day period you will receive commission on that sale.

2. Once the visitor decides to purchase a Kingdom of Pets product they are sent to a secure Clickbank page where they fill in their payment details. At the bottom of this page there is a reference to which affiliate sent the visitor to the page.

3. Once the payment is processed and cleared, Clickbank then sends 75% of the sale to you and Kingdom of Pets the gets remaining 25%. You will receive payment twice monthly in the form of a check from Clickbank if you have made over $100 worth of sales in that Clickbank Pay Period.

Once you have signed up with Clickbank, they will send you an email containing an eight digit code. Use this eight digit code as your password to login to your Clickbank account. You only need one account. There is no need to sign up more than once.

The advertising company that most people start with is Google Adwords. Basically, Google Adwords allows you to buy advertising space on Google pages. You determine where your ads are placed by the content you put in your ad and how much you bid. So you're looking to promote Kingdom of Pets via the various pay per click search engines?

Well first of all you should realize that Google isn't everything. Yes it does produce fantastic results, return on investment is good, and there are a lot of visitors coming from there. But there is also a world of traffic outside of Google, and often it is less competitive to purchase, so print out this page and take a look at these other pay per click search engines. I especially recommend that you join ALL of the big 3 below:

Google Adwords - This is the biggest and best volume for traffic quality. Has a great user interface, however is also often the most expensive.

Looksmart - Often underrated, can produce very good return on investments.

Miva - Up and coming Pay Per Click search engine that has been known to produce good results.

Final 5 worth a go:

7search - A smaller search engine with good quality traffic. Good interface. They claim better ROI than either Google or Yahoo! because of their high quality traffic sources.

GoClick - Cheap traffic, with a growing and loyal following. GoClick still lets you start an account with only $10 and bid from 1 cent.

Enhance - A strong emerging Pay Per Click search engine that has good solid quality control.

Search123 - One of the first Pay Per Click search engines. Cost effective with good support. Fund with $50 and they'll give you $20 free.

ABC Search - They'll match any initial deposit up to $100 delivering qualified Pay-Per-Click traffic.
