Hi Karen, thanks for your lovely message. My dog was not really a border collie, his father was an australian cattle dog, but he looked exactly like a border with blue eyes and silky coat. He was very smart since he was five weeks old, and I never trained him at all, that`s why I thought it was so strange.Other dogs will try to tell you they are tired by jumping on you, but he just touched me with his nose. He seemed to "feel" anything that happened to me, and got very distressed when I cried. I don`t know if all border collies are like this but to me he was like a person and sometimes I thought that I too could see what he was thinking too

. Anyway, Karen, when I found him his hair was short and light grey, but when he was about a year old it became longer and darker; what do you mean by dramatic change? I really would love to see your puppy. I will post pictures of all my dogs as soon as I can: at the moment I live in Costa Rica and I don`t have a computer at home.
