[SS34]

I have a rescued terrier that we have had for about 3 years. He had very bad sep anxiety when we first got him. He was in several pounds before we got him, and even had one or two families take him, and then bring him back. He got alot better when we read this book, and other things from the net.

About 6 months ago he scrathed at the door and tore paint off, and then he ate some of the paint. He only did that once. Now in the last two weeks he has done it like 5 times. I don't think any of his or our routines have changed, he has the same food, etc. I don't know why he has changed his behavior. I am very scared of him getting sick from the paint. I am getting a gate to try to put up so he can't get to the door.

I'm just not really sure why he does this and what to do about it.
