Thank you very much for your reply. We will definetly apply your approach and read and apply the techniques in the suggested materials. We had gathered that the issue was related to the fact that as a small puppy of 8 weeks Rocco refused to stay in the kitchen (screamed the entire night for 4 nights solid) and in order to get some sleep ourselves, he was placed in a nice cushy spot next to my mother's side of the bed.
