Exclamation Will Invisible fence work with GSP?

Hi,

Three weeks ago I adopted two dogs from my local SEAACA shelter, a german shorthair pointer and a border collie mix. I thought by having the two dogs neither would jump my cinder block fence. These last few days the GSP is jumping the fence and my neighbors have been kind enough to return him to my yard. He has not left the area of the house as far as I know. Yes he is neutured, microchipped and licensed with another ID tag. I read that invisible fences could resolve my problem more inexpensibly than raising the height of the current fence. Does anyone have experience with invisible fences or by using plastic PCV piping to hhinder the grip at the top of the fence?

Thank you

Default radio fencing

Hi,

I currently use a radio fence with my boxer and rotti/golden mix. It works great. The only time my dogs leave the yard is when we go for walks or if their battery has expired. This type of fence is like an invisible fence w/o the inground wire.

Hope this helps.
