Default Stop Chewing

We have two labs that are 1 year old, they are litter mates. My problems is that the female likes to chew the clip off of the male's collar. We are looking for a deterrent. We haven't found anything to stop her. We tried Bitter Apple, Tobascco sauce, Ceyenne pepper. None of these even slow her down. Any other ideas?

Cool

The first thing I think of is to change the collar type---use a leather collar with a brass buckle maybe. If he's chewing the plastic parts maybe that would help.

Be sure you are offering lots of chew bones and toys too. I give my dogs raw beef marrow bones and they love them. They're teeth are clean and I have no problems with chewing inappropriately.

Good Luck.
