Growling Boerboel

I have a female boerboel who is 3 years old and has been the best dog ever. All of the sudden she has snapped at one of my son's friends. She has growled at both of my boys and she has growled at me. I am so worried and confused my her behavior. Does anybody have an idea what could be causing this?

this sounds like a sudden change. I would consider taking her to the vet and checking out if she is uncomfortable. It maybe that she has a problem and is nervous around certain situations. Have there been any changes in her diet, training, home situation?
