Growling

I have a jack russell dog, aged 1 year, always been really friendly with everyone, except my daughter (aged 13), who he has a habit of growling at. We think it is because she is always trying to cuddle him, and then shouts at him......
Anyway, over last month we have noticed that he is growling at more people, including people he knows. I am very concerned because he come s to work with me, (only two of us in office, but from january we are moving to bigger offices with lots of people. Don't want to have to leave him at home.
Does anyone have any suggestions, he is a lovely dog, but very stubborn......

I want to help you with your problem but I need to ask a few more questions first just to clarify the problem a little bit.
What situations does he growl at your daughter? Have you told her to stop trying to cuddle him if he doesnt like it, and to stop yelling at him unneccesarily?
What situations does he growl at other people? Is it when they try to cuddle him? Do you attend dog training classes at all? and what is his reaction to you telling him off for growling?

Hi Becks,
He seems to growl at my daughter most of time, we have told her on numerous occassions to leave him alone, and for a while she does, but as soon as she goes near he growls again. Occasionally he will run up to her wagging tail, but if she tries to approach him, he will growl. Strange thing is, in the past, he has always been incredibly friendly with everyone else. He has not had lessons yet. He seems to growl when he thinks people are going to try and pick him up, he has definite size problem.....seems to hate being small. He is a lovely dog, but I am worried that his growling will escalate. If I tell him off, he gets upset, but continues to growl.

I have read quite a few posts where there is the initial post,a reply with some clarifying questions,a reply where the questions are answered and then no reply after that.Am I not privvy to the final answer?I was intentionally reading older posts in hopes of them being complete.These are in the Dog Behavior Probs under Aggression,Barking and Separation Anxiety.I am pretty new so I may not know all the ropes.

Hey,
I'm so so sorry about this, the problem tends to arise as we don't get notification when someone has replied to our messages and then we don't pick them up, especially if the reply comes a wee bit further down the track. I will endeavour to make sure all these posts are answered appropriately as the information is entirely public and of course you are allowed to read and learn from them.

How are your specific problems going? Any resolution?

I posted a new reply this am called "A Few Kibbles"MaxHollyNoah was answering,but I'd appreciate your input as well and thank you for your previous reply.When we do get answers they are very good.How could I help on my end to make sure all of you knew of my new posts.I'm sure there is something I can do on my end.Is their anyway to check answers to posts you've submitted?Right now I am having to try and remember where they were.
