Default Urinating in room where door is open to outside

We recently rescued a 3 year old yellow lab. At night and during the day while we are at work, he's in our "rumpus room" which was a breezeway between the garage and house but was enclosed several years ago. This room has a sofa for him to sleep on, his food, a pool table, some chairs, and a concrete floor. For some reason, he randomly urinates in this room even when the door is open and he can go outside. This completely baffles my husband and I. We previously had a border collie mix that also used the room when we were away. We bought enzyme products last weekend and cleaned the floor and also sprayed the No Go stuff around the room, but he's urinated twice since doing that.

Have you had him checked out by a vet to see that there isn't a medical problem causing the inappropriate urination?
