New Habit, Never Done This Before

I have had my dog, Ginger, for 2 1/2 months now. I have been house training her and she has done pretty well. She is pretty good about letting us know when she needs to go outside. Lately we have been walking her and she will spend a while outside doing her business. Then we will bring her inside when she is done and she will pee on our carpet. We stop her immediatly and take her back outside. When she is done she comes inside and does it all over again. She has never done this before. What do I do?

I would suggest taking Ginger to the vet first to check that there is nothing else medical going on. Sometimes the straining to poo can cause pressure on an inflammed or irritated bladder and when she comes inside she needs to pee. Easily fixable things like bladder or urinary tract infections can cause problems similar to this.
