train for house first or hunting

I have two beagle one male four yrs of age and one female one yr old can I train them to be obedant house dogs and still use them for hunting dogs or should I train them to hunt first then house train thanks for the help

have your dogs not had any training yet, even though they are not puppies anymore?
Whether they are loyal pet dogs that are kept inside and/or hunting dogs either way they will need to be obedient.
The basic principle of dog training is that you need to establish yourself as the pack leader. This applies whether you are hunting or spending time with your dogs inside.
I would recommend reading the Alpha Dog Book.
