Default "Jake" German Shepard - Needs Help!!!!

Jake (2yr old )has been having trouble since July. Biopsy has been done with nothing conclusive. Loss of hair around nose, ears and eyes. Open lesions on nose, ears, gums, and bleeding from eyes. Thought to be possible drug allergy, was on behavior meds but has been off those for better than a month now. Test results suggested - drug re-action possible, pemphigus possible but not likely, lupis, or skin cancer. Now on prednisone and doxycycline with no noticable improvement. I have pics but haven't figured out how to attach here. Please Help!!
PS
Was also checked for tick borne deseases, all negitive results

Thanks, Peter pni6449473@aol.com

Dear Peter,

I am so sorry for you and Jake. You must be frantic!

Unfortunately, I think vets in your area are your best bet. Maybe someone can give you some suggestions for your vet.

As for adding pictures, if you go into Advanced Mode instead of Submitting your post, you can go down to Additional Options and click on Manage Attachments. That should let you upload your pictures.

Do let us know what is happening with Jake. Two years old is so young. Did they look into the possibility of poison? Jake may have gotten into something he shouldn't have.

File size of picture exceeds allowed entry. Was hoping to post to see if anyone might reconize symptoms. General vet is unsure and dermitoligist specialist is also unsure.

What is your operating system? I've used Microsoft Paint to make an image smaller.

Hi jaker104,

Can you ask your daughter to make the picture size smaller? It is easy - click on "edit" and then make it shrink it to 50% or so.... I got help from my daughter too
