Question Elimination problem

Hi,
My dog is not willing to eliminate in my presence. This is jeopardizing all my huousetraining efforts. What shall I do?
Thanks,
Pepito

Hi there and thank you for your question.

Sorry for the delay in replying.
Hmm this must be very frustrating. Trying to get your dog to toilet around you can be hard. The best way to encourage your dog to toilet is time. When you take your dog out to toilet give him/her time.

If he/she doesn't toilet straight away give them time. Wait for a minute if he/she doesn't toilet then play a game with them and try again. Try not to look at your dog when they are wanting to toilet this can make them nervous.

Keep up with your dog. If they do toilet make sure you give them lots of praise and attention. Good memories about toileting are the best way to encourage your dog.

Keep up the good work and let me know how things go.

Kind Regards

Todd Field
