Brussels Griffon

We have a twelve month old Brussels Griffon named Griffin that was brought to our home when he was about 10 weeks old. We have attended training at "Petsmart" for potty training and basic puppy training. However, efforts thus far to house train Griffin have been a failure.

For purposes of "The Ultimate House Training Guilde" should Griffin be classified as a puppy or an adult?
