Hello everyone,

My name is Shea-Lynn and I have a purebred female black Great Dane that is one year old. This is my first dane and I am beginning to understand why they are so loved by whomever knows them. I think I have finally found a breed that works for my lifestyle and family. If anyone else out there owns a Giant breed or even a Great Dane I would love to share stories, and or tips.

Hello My name is Ana and I too am a Great Dane lover as you can well tell having three of my own. I have Duke who is 1 year & 2 months old our first Dane and he is a handful to say the least but I love him and his piercing blue eyes melt my heart. I also have Drake who is 10 months old a Merle dane and our big boy as he is the largest of all three weighing in at 150lbs all ready and standing at 7 feet. Then we have Diesel our Mantel Dane who is 8 months old and all black just like yours. Diesel is very sweet and very much still a growing puppy with lots of energy.

I am new on this site and till now that I came across your post no one has responded to a few issues I have with Duke my oldest Dane so hopefully we can share stories about our big loving joys with one another. I'd love to send you pictures of my Danes if you like and I'd love to see pictures of yours. By the way, I am a 43 year old, married to a wonderful loving husband and animal lover just like me with four great children our daughter Shailyn is 25 years old and just graduated from becoming a Vet Assistant, R.J. our 23 year old son plays for the San Diego Padres Baseball Minor League Team as their Closing Pitcher, Jay is our 14 year old and enjoys LaCross and is a member of the LaCross team in his high school and finally Nick is 9 years old and might be following in his older brother's foot steps with baseball.

Besides having three Great Dane we also have DaVinci my husbands pride and joy American Bull Dog and he is 1 year old and the sweetest dog you could ever imagine. We also have Gizmo 8 months old our ugly dog as my husband calls him as he is a Chinese Crested Hairless and our youngest Ziggy our Hot Dog who is 6 months old and cute as pie.

We live in the sunny state of Miami Florida as my husband owns his company in proving maintenance to Speed Boats & Yachts and I am an Accountant. Hopefully a little insite on me and my family will make you feel comfortable and know we are good decent people.

Hi Shea-Lynn. My Name is Lyn and I have 2 Great Danes at the moment although over the last 30 years I have had 6, and every one has been absolutely adorable. Casey is a brindle bitch 7 and a half years old and then we have Zak at 17 months, quite a handfull as he has not been nuetered as I show him, hes not doing to badly, usually gets placed but I don't think he'll ever get to crufts! (mainly because he just likes the jolly of it all and I'm not serious enough about it, even if he doesn't get placed I still take the best dog home). Look forward to sharing stories with you.
