We have two 9 month old Golden Retriever/Golden Lab mix puppies, Chelsea and Jasmine. They are sisters and the joy of our lives and are usually pretty good. But... we do have a few things we need to work on, one being to come when called. They like to go visit at the neighbor's which is a no no and they get busy playing or sniffing everything and just ignore us.. We have neighbors on each side and they sometimes will run right pass us going from neighbor to neighbor. Our second problem.... I have indoor/outdoor carpet in the family room and where the seams come together we like to pull the little threads!!!! They have pulled it in a few spots so I brought area rugs, until they get out of this stage and I can replace the carpet, and we like those rugs too!!!!! we've replaced them twice!!! They have several toys and they are good when we are in the room... it is when Mom and Dad leave the room that we have fun!!!! I"ve tried hiding and if I've caught them in the act I spray them with cold water and stearnly say no and they stop and run right into their crate so they do know that it is wrong. Is there anything else I can try? My big concern is keeping them in our own yard and staying within the boundries we have set for them. Thank you for any advise you can provide.
